I am the COO of Kimmel & Associates, an executive recruiter and consultant business specializing in construction, supply chain, waste and recycling, and the automotive industry.
Working with Jim has been different than most outside advisors we’ve worked with in the past. Jim is smart in that he knows how to work with different personalities and when to push certain areas, and when not to. He sees the dynamics of a team and has a really good feel for how to enter each conversation or discussion.
Jim’s way of facilitating discussion or debate has changed our team dynamics for the better. We have been able to get into issues that we never would have done otherwise. Jim has also helped me a great deal personally. The advice he gives on that level is applicable every time, and he really helped me gain perspective on why my role is important. He also has helped me grow outside of work with family relationships.
I am looking forward to growth and change as a person and as a business. One item that we all need to address is succession planning and Jim is the one that will guide us in that.
